Senior Corporate Counsel, Oracle Corporation
Peggy Dong is Senior Corporate Counsel for Oracle Financing, the global financing unit of Oracle Corporation, the world’s largest enterprise software company. She has primary responsibility for financing software and services in the JAPAC region.
Prior to joining Oracle in 2003, she was with Dell Financial Services in Austin, Texas, which provides financing solutions for Dell Computer Corporation, a leading manufacturer of technology products. While at Dell Financial Services, she was responsible for commercial and municipal financing transactions and remarketing of end-of-lease technology. Before that, she was at El Camino Resources, Ltd. in Woodland Hills, California.
Peggy received her B.A. in Psychology from the University of Texas, Austin in 1992, and holds a J.D. from California Western School of Law in San Diego. During law school, she studied in Hong Kong and clerked for a U.K. firm with a focus on maritime law.
She participates in the APBA mentorship program. She has given presentations for the Alta Group Legal Forum on Leasing in Latin America and the Equipment Leasing and Financing Association (ELFA). She also served on the Legal Committee of ELFA and, in that capacity, helped organize its national conference for legal professionals in the leasing and financing industry. She has written articles about technology financing for industry publications. She is also on the board of Good Governance International Corp., a non-profit organized to promote good governance in countries, especially the developing world, through research, global partnerships, and sponsored events and services.
